I enjoy volunteering at the community center because I teach English to adults and, moreover, I learn a lot from my students. Although some weeks are busy while others have few learners, I consistently try new activities to keep lessons engaging. When an activity works well, students participate enthusiastically and show clear progress; when it does not, I reflect on what went wrong and adapt my plans accordingly. In addition to teaching, I help coordinate materials and community events, which further supports learners and strengthens local ties. If I continue developing varied materials and asking for feedback, I will improve my lessons and better meet students’ needs. Ultimately, the experience is rewarding and has strengthened both my teaching skills and my commitment to the community.
